Synopsis
We Met in Paradise follows Katia Davis, a successful wine specialist who travels to Cyprus for her fiftieth birthday to decide whether to remain in a stalled long-term relationship or finally choose herself. When her closest friends surprise her on the island, a solitary trip becomes a joyful, heartfelt girls’ getaway of yachts, beaches, second-chance romance and self-discovery.
Positioned as Eat Pray Love meets Girls Trip, the film works within a commercially proven genre — the female-ensemble comedy of friendship and romance set against an aspirational destination — and is designed for theatrical, streaming and festival audiences worldwide.
